About

Teresa Runnett

I'm all about bring delight and joy to everyday life. I was diagnosed with OCD late in life, and, in a weird way, learning to live with it revolutionized my approach to living.

It’s so easy to get wrapped up in all the adulting stuff - bills, work, chores, rent, doctor's appointments... it can all leave you feeling like your best days are behind you. But it's not true. Between all the hard times, happiness is hidden in the quiet, day-to-day moments. All you have to do is look for it.

I design patterns and knit little creatures so people will know that adult life doesn’t mean there’s no room for fun. My patterns focus on the little things that bring happiness, like exploring in nature or having a cup of tea, so you can take them with you at all times. My small huggable critters are the perfect size for a co-working buddy, reading pal, or scary appointment support-friend, specially designed to bring whimsy to your life.

The good things in life don’t have to be big to make a difference. Sometimes all you need is a pair of happy socks or a little companion to make you smile.

Clara

I contribute very little to Classical Songbird Designs creatively, but I perform some extremely important duties. My key roles including eating yarn as it’s being knit with, trying to nap on blocking projects, and walking over keyboards to mess up stitch counts.

I like to think I’m indispensable.
